Programme Overview
This Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship is designed for individuals who manage teams, projects or operational activities within a business. Apprentices develop the leadership, communication and managerial skills required to guide teams, set goals, support development, manage performance, resolve issues and contribute to business success.
Team leaders are found in organisations of all sizes across private, public and third sectors — in operational, project, administrative or technical contexts.

Gateway Requirements:
- English & Maths achieved to required level
- Portfolio of evidence completed
- Employer confirms readiness of apprentice
EPA Components:
- Presentation with Questions– apprentice delivers a presentation on a chosen topic and answers questions
- Professional Discussion Underpinned by Portfolio– structured discussion with independent assessor supported by the apprentice’s portfolio
Grading: Fail / Pass / Distinction
